What is the Colorado Home Rule Portal?
Businesses who file in Colorado know MUNIRevs as a sales tax and licensing system provider in Colorado for about 25% of the jurisdictions.

We have been automating business revenues since 2011 for Colorado jurisdictions.

We currently have over 35,000 businesses that utilize the system, and process over $14 million per month in revenues for our jurisdictions.

Over the years, we have had requests from the business community to develop a single filing portal to make it easier for them. The Colorado Home Rule Portal is the result of those business owner requests.

Where can I find instructions and a sample file to upload my tax form?
How do I create a User Login?
If you have not already created your user login (email address and password), go to New User Registration and click the green "Go" Button. Enter your email address and follow the instructions that will be emailed to you.
I have created my user login. How do I start filing through the Colorado Home Rule Portal?
First, register your account to remit via the Home Rule Portal by going here Account Registration . You will need to fill out a basic form, providing the Home Rule jurisdictions basic contact information should they have any questions or issues with your remittances through the portal. Please be sure to have your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), Colorado Department of Revenue Account Number and your Colorado Secretary of State ID available for the form.
Can I pay by ACH Credit?
Yes. Once you login, you can download the ACH Credit payment instructions from the Business Center.
How do the Home Rule Jurisdictions receive my tax payments?
The Colorado Home Rule Portal system will send a separate payment to each of the home rule jurisdictions when you pay at our shopping cart. Jurisdictions can also register to receive payments and tax forms electronically.
When will my tax forms be available?
Your tax forms will be available on the first day of the month following the last day of the tax period. For example,the February, 2018 tax forms will be automatically available in your Action Center on March 1, 2018. If you do not see the forms you expected, simply contact our support team for assistance.
Can I manage multiple businesses with one login?
Yes - to do so, click Add an additional business to your account. Select whether the business has already registered for the portal or if you need to complete the registration. If the business is already registered, you will need the 6 digit Account Number and Activation Code to connect to the record.
Can a business have more than one user?
Yes, each business can have an unlimited number of users. Each user is required to provide the 6 digit Account Number and Activation Code to be authorized to connect to an existing business record.
Can I file a Zero File tax return through the Colorado Home Rule Portal?
To file a zero file tax form, simply include the zero amounts for that jurisdiction in your CSV upload file. We will then file the zero due form with the jurisdiction to complete the liability.
What payment types are accepted by the Colorado Home Rule Portal?
The home rule portal accepts E-Check (ACH Debit) credit card and ACH Credit payments.
What is the credit card refund policy?
Refund Policy: (as required by MC & Visa) It is our standard policy not to issue refunds. For any payment inquiries and or discrepancies, please email us at support@munirevs.com for fastest service.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
From the Log In page, click the “Forgot your password” link and follow the instructions that will be e-mailed to the User’s registered e-mail address.
Do I have to login to my Business Center to see my alerts and reminders?
No. All alerts are e-mailed to your authenticated e-mail address.
